Information
The KA-BAR USMC 1217 is a legendary knife. In 1942, this knife was chosen by the United States Marine Corps to be the combat knife for the Marines. Since then, this knife has been part of the standard equipment of many soldiers.
This is a large knife and it feels very sturdy. The handle has protective parts which keep you from getting close to the razor-sharp edge while using it.
The blade is made out of 1095 carbon steel, which does not make this knife stainless. Luckily there is a black coating on the blade which makes maintenance a lot easier.
