Information
The Tokisu Takeda Black Rubber, Satin 7Cr17MoV (32389) was created to meet the needs of users looking for reliability, simplicity and functionality in a tool designed for tactical and outdoor tasks. Its balanced design and proven technological solutions make it a knife that performs well both in the field and in everyday use as part of an EDC kit. Blade is made of 7Cr17MoV stainless steel, known for its corrosion resistance and ease of sharpening. The tanto profile increases piercing efficiency, while the satin finish reduces reflections and improves utility. The overall design provides high mechanical and utility durability, making this model a suitable choice in demanding conditions. The Handle is made of technical rubber composite, with a surface that improves grip even when wearing gloves or in wet conditions. The ergonomic shape supports a natural grip, and the end with a mounting hole allows the use of a safety line. It comes with a MOLLE-compatible Sheath , allowing for flexible carry at the belt or on your equipment. The 32389 is for those who want a full-fledged tactical knife - durable, ergonomic and ready for action.
7Cr17MoV is a martensitic chromium steel, often referred to as an improved version of 440A steel. Its nominal chemical composition includes about 0.60-0.75% carbon (C) and 16.0-18.0% chromium (Cr), with additions of molybdenum (Mo) and vanadium (V) in smaller amounts. The higher chromium content provides very good corrosion resistance in typical environments. Carbon is responsible for hardness, which after appropriate heat treatment can reach about 56-58 HRC, which is sufficient for many applications. Molybdenum increases hardenability and improves resistance to pitting corrosion, while vanadium contributes to the formation of fine carbides, which increases abrasion resistance and allows the cutting edge to remain sharp longer. 7Cr17MoV steel is widely used in the mass production of kitchen knives, folding knives for everyday use (EDC), multi-tools and outdoor equipment, where a good combination of corrosion resistance, acceptable hardness and ease of sharpening is crucial .
Blade - has a tanto type profile, which offers increased penetration and resistance to tip damage. The design of this type works well with hard materials, as well as in defensive applications. The production uses 7Cr17MoV stainless steel, which stands up well to moisture and does not lose its sharpness in field conditions. The satin finish reduces light reflections and masks minor scratches, while the flat grind allows for efficient cutting with precision. The false blade reinforces the structure of the tip, increasing its effectiveness in tasks that require piercing or maneuvering in a small area. This is a well-thought-out Blade, which meets the needs of users who focus on durability and control in their work.
Handle - made of durable technical rubber coating, resistant to abrasion, impact and weather conditions. Its ergonomic shape and textured surface improve grip comfort and safety, even when working with gloves or in wet environments. The back of the Handle has a mounting hole, allowing the attachment of a safety cable or wrist loop. Included is a functional ABS and nylon sheath, compatible with the MOLLE system, which allows the knife to fit different equipment configurations. The Handle is designed for long-lasting comfort and durability, with no unnecessary elements that could reduce its functionality.
